SOC Academy Program
SOC Academy School offers a one-of-a-kind learning experience where psychology, character growth, and academic mastery blend into one powerful journey. We believe every child learns differently—so we craft a pathway that supports their mind, emotions, and potential. With a strong foundation in social learning, personalized guidance, and a modern, research-driven approach, SOC Academy School empowers students to thrive not only in the classroom, but in life.
At SOC Primary, embracing the joy of learning in education is more than a schedule of lessons; it is the unfolding of a child’s early journey toward knowing themselves, connecting with others through social learning . Social learning is deeply woven into daily practice, guiding children to notice their thoughts and feelings, to respect the emotions of peers, and to build empathy. Well-being is also nurtured through mindfulness practices, creating calm spaces where confidence and focus can flourish. In this way, SOC Primary ensures that children are not just learning what to know, but how to live together and grow with joy.
Based on the National Curriculum SOC brings every subject to life. Mathematics, Science, and Language are taught not as abstract subjects but as living experiences. For example, science and math lessons may take place in the kitchen, where children explore changes of matter, also measuring the ingredients while baking, watching dough rise with curiosity and delight. Language blossoms through music, drama, and storytelling, where words are no longer just rules of grammar but instruments of expression. Every subject is designed to be felt, observed, and lived.
These years are precious because they set the foundation not only for academic skills but also for the values and attitudes that will shape their growth for years to come.
Primary & Secondary majors and program
The Indonesian national curriculum at the junior and senior high school levels emphasizes knowledge, skills, and character development. Yet education in the 21st century requires more than cognitive achievement; it must also nurture students’ mental health and socio-emotional growth. SOC Academy addresses this need by placing psychology-based education at the heart of its approach, creating a transformative model that prioritizes well-being, fosters resilience, and equips adolescents with the social and emotional competence to thrive in times of pressure and change.
To bring this vision into practice, SOC Secondary integrates eight interconnected elements into its curriculum. Student well-being is supported through counseling, mindfulness, and reflective spaces, while holistic development ensures emotional, social, physical, and moral growth. Flexible pathways are designed through personalized learning and individual growth maps, allowing students to connect their strengths and aspirations with strategies for resilience. Cross-disciplinary projects, coaching-based methods, and character-focused assessment enrich the national curriculum, making learning both relevant and meaningful.
Career readiness and life preparation are closely tied to mental health, as students are guided to explore passions, manage stress, and practice self-regulation. Collaborative projects nurture creativity and confidence, while teachers serve as coaches who provoke constructive thinking and foster empowering dialogue. Through this integration, SOC Secondary ensures that learners are not only academically capable but also emotionally balanced, mentally resilient, and future-ready.
“Everyone is good at something” is a foundational belief that every child possesses unique potential. However, this potential is not always visible within the boundaries of the academic classroom. Many strengths emerge more clearly when students engage in real-life situations, social projects, and meaningful interactions with the community.
Community service at SOC Academy is intentionally designed as a bridge between personal growth, social responsibility, and career preparation. These projects give students authentic experiences in leadership, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. At the same time, they provide meaningful evidence for students’ portfolios, showcasing their readiness to pursue diverse career pathways in the future.
Cetana is dedicated to raising awareness and support for children battling cancer. Students organize campaigns, workshops, and advocacy initiatives that bring attention to the challenges faced by young patients and their families. In this project, students learn empathy, advocacy skills, and the power of communication in mobilizing communities. These experiences help them build competencies for future careers in healthcare, psychology, education, and community development while enriching their portfolios with impactful social contributions.
